Pawan Kalyan’s Experiment Johnny:

After the industry hit like Kushi movie no one will try to experient with his next film. But pawan kalyan is different from all other hero’s. He shaked the box office with kushi in 2001. After he taken 2 years gap to release his nexr film. Johnny was released on 26^th April 2003.

Johnny is written and directed by Power Star Pawan kalyan due to this Johnny film got a huge expectations even before releasing the first look posters.In addition audio also became a block buster hit which is composed by Ramana Gogula. In Johnny movie most of the songs will represents the patriotism  and social responsibility. Director of the movie is pawan kalyan so he applied all his thoughts on the cinema and he narrate d the story in very different screenplay which is a huge experiment for telugu audience.

He introduces lot of styles with this film..Different belts, key chains, Hand kerchiefs,  Pouches and others.

He also introduced reverse screenplay technique with the Johnny movie which is followed by ace director later. We can see the reverse screenplay in movies like Athadu, Ashok , Magadheera and others.

 Johnny movie is a slow narrated film with martial arts background. Due to the duration of the movie and slow narration and expectation movie got flopped at box office.

And distributors and buyers got loses first time for Pawan kalyan movie. All his previous films are tremendous hits and gave profits to them.

Movie got a disaster talk but some elements like songs,fights, Picturization  of songs is extremely good in the movie. But due to weak screenplay at some places movie got flopped.

Pawan Kalyan looks entirely different in this film. Regular pawan kalyan films consist of comedy and his donot have any responsebilities till the end.SO his previous films have good scope for comedy…But in Johnny film he choose to play a very different role ..he is the person who lost his mother in his childwood and runs away from his father due to his father’s treatment ..grown up as a orphan and having some responsibilities in him after his marriage.So there is no scope for regular commercial film.

He done his role extremely well and carried emotion very cleverly. To say in word Johnny character represents us on the screen.

PLOT:

Johnny loses his mother when he was a kid. After his mother dies, Johnny runs away from his father  as he is a chain smoker, a drinker, and doesn't care for his son. Years later, Johnny becomes a martial arts coach. One day, a girl named Geeta  lodges a complaint on Johnny for beating up a man. Later, Geeta comes to know that it was a misunderstanding. After Geeta apologizes, both become friends and eventually get married. A while after the marriage, Johnny finds out that his wife has cancer. Borrowing all money he can from his friends, he moves to Mumbai but he is still short of the money needed to treat his wife's cancer.

That's when Johnny comes to know through a stranger that there are boxing fights everyday. At first, Johnny refuses the offer but as soon as he sees the terrible condition of his wife, he accepts the offer and goes through boxing competitions to raise money. Geeta's condition deteriorates to a point that Johnny needs 2 lakhs overnight. The owner of the boxing fights makes a deal with Johnny that he must fight two professional martial artists to get 2 lakhs overnight. The rest is how he defeats them
